| Sales Manager • The Industry Leader • Location – East Melbourne Currently we are seeking to appoint a Sales Manager to lead our sales team of 7 consultants. This hands on management position requires a candidate with a strong focus on leading and coaching a team to achieve sales success. The chosen candidate will have a proven leadership background within an outbound phone sales environment, with a focus on team motivation, day to day development, formal performance management and development, along with an ability to recruit/train new sales consultants. Along with demonstrated achievements at this level, we seek a candidate who has a mature, self assured approach, is highly motivated and enthusiastic, and is able to work in a high pressure sales orientated environment. This is not a caretaker role but a strategic position that will require you to develop a plan of attack that will involve marketing and sales. You will need to adopt the existing proven sales strategies and spend time on the phone yourself working with your sales team. Note: This is not an ivory tower position. Whilst a background within financial services is desirable it is not essential, you have to have experience in people management, strong sales focus and the ability to lead a team to success.
